Caring for your skin not only keeps you beautiful and always at your best, but also keeps the largest and one of your most important organs healthy. Your skin encloses your entire body. Anywhere you look at your body, from head to foot, you will find your skin protecting your internal organs. And since some part of the skin cannot be covered by clothes, like face, arms and legs, it is highly exposed to the harmful substances in the environment: the harmful rays of the sun, dirt and dust. It is just right that you protect your skin, and give it extra shield from harmful substances. The more you care for your skin, the more it will make you glowing and beautiful.
Here are the few tips you can do to protect your skin:
- Keep your skin clean by washing thoroughly and regularly using mild soap or cream. Using sponge can help in exfoliating while washing away dirts.
- Moisturize after washing. It can help in taking back the moisture.
- Get 8-9 hours of sleep everyday. Sleep is important to maintain a healthy skin.
- Drink enough water. Be sure you consume 6-8 glasses of water everyday.
- Exercise regularly.
- Stress can cause dry and dull skin. Take time to relax once in a while esp. after a stressful situation.
- Use sunblock and sunscreen to help protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
- If you are not going anywhere, be sure not to put even a single make up. This will give your skin and your pores a total rest.

Does moisturizers really work? Won’t just taking a bath enough already to keep moisture since you would be soaked in water? I saw my sister using a moisturizer and as far as I can see there really isn’t much difference to my skin even if I don’t apply moisturizer on my skin.
