The reason I decided to work online is to be able to spend more time with my family while earning but sometimes I cant help but feel more like a slave with my working-in-pajamas life. Dont get me wrong. I always enjoy the time I am with my family esp. with my kids, and I wont exchange it for anything else. My work let me feel that I am still myself aside from being a mom and wife. When you are working from home, there are so many distractions. There are things that you need to attend like cooking, looking after the kids and store, etc….etc.

And sometimes I dont think I am budgeting my time well. I am inspired by other WAHM (work-at-home-mom) like me and how they can manage their time and I am not sure if I can make it as good as them, but God knows Im trying. Now I am looking for the motivation to the highest level so that I can do the things that I need to do and spend quality time with my family.

I have read a lot of working at home tips in managing time and I have come to the point that I know what to do. It wont be easy I know, but I will try hard to stick to my goal no matter what.

So from now on

• No more Castleville (to make it sound more real, I’ll just limit it to 5 minutes per play at maximum of 4 times a day.
• Limit internet browsing to 1 -2 hours per day.
• No more work after dinner
• I’ll schedule and plan my tasks so that I wont feel rush for things left undone
• Download the post manager for WordPress so I would know what and when to post
• Love more, worry less
• Connect with inspiring people to help me keep motivated
• Surround myself with positive things

Last but not the least, remind myself every morning how lucky I am for being a work at home mom.

Its not me, Its literally Smart.

Don’t get me wrong.

I’ve been a Smart user all my life. Not because I am working for Smart, its just that most of my family and friends are Smart users too. I am SmartMoney card holder, Eload reloader, etc.

But recently, Smart is giving me headache. Out of the blue, I cannot reload my simcard, I cannot make any call, cannot accept any calls, cannot make any transaction, cannot text or even check my balance. My cellphone has become totally useless, except that I can still use it as alarm clock and my kids can still play games installed to my phone. I called their customer service and after 45 minutes of waiting, I finally had an agent to assist me. The sad part is with the kind of problem I have, she has no access,  and the agent instructed me to visit the nearest wireless center in my area.

Last Monday, I went to Smart Wireless Center Kalibo. I got my number which is 4 times away from the number being called and served. After 2 hours of waiting I was called. The customer service agent did what she have to do and asked me to wait 24 hours. She even asked another contact number so she can call me.

Yesterday I called their customer service again because nothing changed. I still cannot do anything with my Smart sim and its still useless. The customer service agent advised me to go back to the wireless center again. The thoughts of waiting more than 2 hours again is already making me feel insane. I can do a lot of things with that 2 hours.

There are thousands of subscribers here in Aklan, and only 1 customer service representative is handling the customers including those who are applying for plans.

I think their wireless center here sucks! Being the number 1 network company here in the Philippines, I think they should start thinking better ways to serve their million of clients.

This is about the Ebay Scam Transaction I had.

I’ve been an Ebay fanatic since 2009. Ebay is my happy place. Its the place where I run to whenever I need to buy some stuff. Since we are living in Aklan, our access to malls are limited. (Read: We only have small and incomplete Gaisano here ) Ebay has become my best friend. I’ve made a lot of  purchases and always been satisfied.

Until recently, I purchased an item from a certain Dale Andrian Mangahas from Gagalangin. I purchased a low bid tweety bird kids jumpsuit and paid him via GCASH. A soon as he claimed that he received the payment I felt excited to receive the item.Days passed and I heard nothing from him. I filed a case to Ebay, and after a day or two, I got a message from the seller. He said, he was away and thought that the item was sent to me. He said that I’ll receive the item after New Year. Again, I did not receive the item. I called and texted him and got no response, so I thought that I got scammed.

Until one day, I got a message from him that he already sent the item. He apologized for the delay. After a day or two, I received the item and I am really happy to have it. I failed to change the feedback score, and I regret it. I’ve been caught with too many responsibilities  and forgot doing the changes.

I still recommend him as great Ebay seller. He actually have excellent feedback until our transaction. He has a choice not to send the item (Note: I already gave him negative feedback before he sent the item) but still he did. I understand that maybe he had some issues that delayed the sending of items. I am still willing to do a transaction with him.
